The White Horse Inn is a charming 17th century coaching inn set in the delightful village of Duns Tew on the eastern edge of the Cotswolds. With the low beams and original flagstone floors, combined with the open fire and relaxed atmosphere makes this a special place to enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

The White Horse prides its self on it's selection of fine wines and traditional ales, and you will find it to be the perfect place to relax in one of the many large leather sofas and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Alternatively why not take a seat at the large bar where you will be more than welcome to join in on a conversation or two.

Our Restaurant spans two rooms each with its own original character. The varied menu blends classic restaurant fayre with modern international cuisine and of course we serve the traditional favourites as well. Where we can all of our dishes are prepared using fresh local ingredients, producing excellent quality dishes.

Why not stay in one of our eight rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, colour television and air conditioning. With the rooms being in renovated stables to the side of the inn it gives all of our guests privacy and freedom, while still being close enough to enjoy the ambiance of our bar and restaurant.

We are located a short and convenient distance from the beautiful city of Oxford, where you can enjoy sports such as the traditional rowing & rugby , as well as shopping. The village of Duns Tew is an ideal place to explore the amazing countryside and wonderful period buildings which are so common in Oxfordshire.
